Apan hissa shumar karta tha
Mujhse itna woh pyar kerta tha

Woh banata tha meri tasveerain
Unse bataen hazaar karta tha

Mera dukh bhi khuloos-e-niyat se
Apna dukh he shumar karta tha

Sach samajhta tha jhoot bhi mera
Yun mera aitbaar karta tha

Pehle rakhta tha phool rastay mein
Phir mera intezaar karta tha

Aaj pehlu mein woh nahi
Jo mujh pe jaan nisaar karta tha
