tum jo nahiN tu aisa lagta he

Jesey weeraN ho rehguzr-e-hyat
jesey khuwaboN ke rang pheeke hoN
jesey lafzoN se mout resti ho
jesey sansoN ke tar bikhre hoN

tum nahi ho tu aisa lagta he

jesey khushboo nahi ho kalyouN maiN
jesey sona para ho shehr-e-dil
jesey kuch bhi nahi ho galyouN maiN
jesey khushiouN se dushmani ho jaye
jesey jazboN se aashnayee na ho

tum nahi ho tu aisa lata he

jesey ek umer ki musafet per
Baat kuch bhi samjh na aayee ho
jesey chup chap hoN aarzoo ke shajer
jesey ruk ruk ke sans chalti ho
jesey be-nam hu dua ka safer
jesey qistoN pe umer ket-ti ho

tum nahi ho tu aisa lagta he

jesey ek khof ke jazeerey maiN
Koi aawaz de ke cHHup jaye
Jesey hanste huwey achank hi
gham ki purwa se aankh bher jaye

tum nahi ho tu aisa lagta he.
