یہ آنسو، شکوے، آہیں، سب بے معنی سی زنجیریں ہیں
کب اِن کے باندھے رکتا ہے، وہ جس کو جانا ہوتا ہے

میں تجھ کو کیسے بھولوں گا؟ تو مجھ کو کیسے بھولے گی؟
اک داغ سا باقی رہتا ہے، جب زخم پرانا ہوتا ہے
