Rukhsat huwa tou baat meri maan kar gaya
jo uss ke paas tha sab mujhay daan kar gaya

bichhra kuchh iss adaa se ke rutt hi badal gayi
ekk shakhs saare shehar ko veeran kargaya

dilchasp waqeya hai kal ekk azeez dost
apne mufaad par mujhay qurbaan kargaya

ab shehar bharr main koi bhi pehchanta nahi
woh appne saath mujh ko bhi anjaan kargaya
