Aaina koi shay hai na sehra meray aagay
Damm saadh chukka rung-e-tamaasha meray aagay

Aawaaz bhi meri hai ye khaamoshi bhi meri
Juzz meray yahaan kon hai berpaa meray aagay

Khud apni jhalak paaoon to phir maanoon k main hoon
Hota to bohat hai mera cherchaa meray aagay

Zaahir to faqat aalam-e-imkaan tha saraa-sarr
Baatin bhi zara dair hi thehraa meray aagay

Main is ko samhajnay k liye khaak hua tha
Ye dasht bhala kaisay na khulta meray aagay

Insaan hoon, musjood-e-malaaik hoon ….. main
Jibraaeel sukhan kaisay karay ga meray aagay.
