Toota howa shesha phir jora nahi jata
Aankh say nikla howa ansoo phir wapis nahi ata.

Tum tu keh ker bhool chukay ho sab kuch
Lekin mujhsay wo pal bhoolaya nahi jata.

Teri mohobbat ne zanjeerey dali hain esi
Ke churana bhi chahoon to choraya nahi jata.

Mehfil main bhi mujh ko tanhai nazar ate hai
Teray bin ye dil kahi or lagaya nahi jata.

Mere dil ki deewaroo par sirf tera he nam likha hai
Mitana bhi chahoon to mitaya nahi jata.

Saans ruknay say pehlay aik jhalak dikha jana
bewafa zindagi ka aitbar kiya nahi jata...
