Jagti raat k honton pe fasany jaisy,

Ek pal mein simat aaye hon zamany jaisy...


Aqal kehti hai bhula don jo nahi mil paya,

Dil wo pagal k koi baat na maany jaisy...


Raasty mein wohi manzar hain puraany ab tak..

Bas kami hai to nahi log puraany jaisy...


Aaeena dekh k ehsas yehi hota hai..

Le gaya waqt
ho umron k khazaany jaisy...


Raat ki aankh se tapka hua aansu Wasi...

Makh'mali ghaas pe moti k hon daany jaisy..
