azmat-e-zindagii ko bech diyaa
ham ne apanii Khushii ko bech diyaa

chashm-e-saaqii ke ik ishaare pe
umr kii tishnagi ko bech diyaa

rind jaam-o-subuu pe ha.Nsate hai.n
shaiKh ne bandagii ko bech diyaa

rah_guzaaro.n pe luT ga_ii raadhaa
shaam ne baa.Nsurii ko bech diyaa

jagamagaate hai.n vahashato.n ke dayaar
aql ne aadamii ko bech diyaa

lab-o-ruKhsaar ke ivaz ham ne
sitvat-e-Khusravii ko bech diyaa

ishq beharuupiyaa hai ai 'Sagar'
aap ne saadagii ko bech diyaa
