Meri ye zid k taqaza mera usool nhi,

Ussy ye shoq k uss ki saari ziden hon poori,
Meri ye zid k ruswayi mujhy qubool nhi,

Usy ye shoq k saari chahat ussy dy dun or wo lutta dy,
Meri ye zid k meri chahat itni b fuzool nhi,

Ussy ye shoq k kaantay na lagen hathon main,
Meri ye zid k qismat main sirf phool nhi,

Ussy ye shoq k hans k sahoon saari takleefen,
Meri ye zid k mera pyar koi urti hui dhool nhi
