Khud mujh say meri haashiyaa aaraai hui hai
Tab jaa k kaheen tujh say shanaasaai hui hai

Yun is k mutaabiq mujhay jeena bhi nahi tha
Waisay bhi ye duniya meri thukraai hui hai

Reh reh k ulhaj jaati hein haathon ki lakeerein
Halaan k ye ghutti meri suljhaai hui hai

Ab jaa k kisi shair ka imkaan hua hai
Ab jaa k teri yaad karishmaai hui hai

Ab koi nahi koi nahi meray ilaawa
Ab mujh say mukhaatib meri tunhaai hui hai.
