kia hua jo muflis o lachaar hain
dard ki daulat se to sarshaar hain

aane waale kal kay suraj kay liey
teergi se barsar e pekaar hain

is dayar e ghair main koi nahi
chahane waale sabhi us paar hain

zeest se berh kar nahi hay falsafa
aur saare falsafe bekaar hain

phir zara aane se pehle soch lo
mere ghar kay raaste dushwaar hain

aaj phir mehsoos ki hay ek kami
kitne gum sum yeh dar o dewaar hain

chup hay kyun kuch bol kay yeh shab kate
aey udaasi hum tere ghamkhowaar hain
