haal poocha na kare haath milaaya na kare
men isi dhoop men khush hoon koi saya na kare

men bhi akhir hoon isi dasht ka rehne wala
kese majnoo se kahoon khaak uraya na kare

aaina mere shab o roz se waqif hi nahi
kon hoon kia hoon ? mujhe yaad dilaya na kare

ain mumkin hai chali jaaey samat meri
dil se keh do kay bohut shor machaya na kare

mujh se raston ka bicharna nahi dekha jata
mujh se milne wo kisi mor pe aya na kare
