Kahan kahan se samaitoon shikasta khwaabon ko
K zabt e gham ka saleeqa nahin hai Aankhon ko

ajab bahar e khizaan hai chaman main ab ki bahaar
hawa urraati phiri mere khushk patton ko

safar abhi to zara sa kiya hai tere baghair
abhi to rona buhat hai udaas aankhon ko

abhi to umr ka ye dasht paar kerna hai
charagh kerna hai kuch be charagh raaton ko
