نہ گلہ ہے کوئی حالات سے نہ شکایتیں تیری ذات سے
خود ہی سارے ورق جُدا ہوئے میری زندگی کی کتاب سے

تجھے چاہا تھا تجھے پا لیا تجھے پا کے بھی تجھے کھو دیا
مجھے خواہشوں کی تھی آرزو میری زندگی میں عذاب تھے

میری وحشتوں کی راہ میں فقط محفلوں کی سراب تھی
کٹی عمر جن کی تلاش میں میرے رت جگوں کے وہی خواب تھے

یوں بھٹک بھٹک کے تمام عمر کبھی اثر ھی نہ ہوا
جنہیں کھو دیا تیرے عشق میں وہ سپنے بے حساب تھے
