حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: گناہ پر ندامت اور استغفار کرنے والا شخص گناہ پر اڑنے والا شمار نہیں ہوگا، اگرچہ ایک دن میں ستر مرتبہ گناہ صغیرہ کا ارتکاب کرے۔ رواہ ابودائود
