udaasii ke chehre paRhaa mat karo
Ghazal aaNsuuoN se likhaa mat karo

bahar-haal ye aag hii aag haiN
chiraaGoN ko aise chhuaa mat karo

du’aa aaNsuuoN meN khilaa phuul hai
kisii ke liye bad-du’aa mat karo

tumheN log kehne lageN be-vafaa
zamaane se itnii vafaa mat karo

agar vaaqaii tum pariishaaN ho
kisii aur se tazkiraa mat karo

Khuda ke liye chaaNdni raat meN
akele akele phiraa mat karo
