Former Federal Minister Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain has said that the Saudi Government would rescue former President Pervez Musharraf if he is dragged into a trial.

Talking to a private TV channel, a close aide of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf, Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain claimed that certain international guarantors would assist the former President to prevent trial.

The former minister who hosted an Iftar dinner during recent visit of Pervez Musharraf to Saudi Arabia rejected the impression that the Saudi officials during the meeting refused to support Pervez Musharraf and urged the people to stop guessing.

About future plan of former President, Chaudhary Shahbaz Hussain said that after November, the two-year ban on him regarding participating in politics would be lifted and he (Musharraf) would enter into political arena and to face challenges.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), Senator Mushahid Hussain has advised former President to stay out of Pakistani politics and to focus on delivering lecturers in USA and Europe and listen to old songs.

Talking to a private TV channel, PML-Q leader said that he sees no possibility of either early return of Pervez Musharraf into Pakistan or his participation into politics in near future.
