ye aalam shauq kaa dekhaa na jaaye
wo but hai yaa Khudaa dekhaa na jaaye

ye kin nazaron se tum ne aaj dekhaa
ke teraa dekhanaa dekha naa jaaye

hameshaa ke liye mujh se bichhar jaa
ye manzar baarahaa dekhaa na jaaye

Galat hai jo sunaa par aazamaa kar
tujhe ai baavafaa dekhaa na jaaye

ye maharuumii nahiin paas-e-vafaa hai
koii tere sivaa dekhaa na jaaye

yahii to aashnaa banate hain aaKhir
koii naaaashnaa dekhaa na jaaye

'Faraz' apane sivaa hai kaun teraa
tujhe tujh se judaa dekhaa na jaaye
