Shaam se aagae jo peene per

Subha tak Aaftab hen hum log

Naaz kerti he Khan-e-weerani

Ese khana kharab hen hum log

Too hamara jawab he tanha

Or tera jawab hen hum log

Too he daryae husn o mehbubi

Shakal moj o shabab hen hum log

Hum pe nazil hoa saheefa-e-ishq

Saahiban-e-Kitaab hen hum log
