aaj dono jahaan hamare hain

subha ka intezaar kaun kare?

phir ye rut ye samaa mile na mile
aarzu ka chaman khile na khile

waqt ka aitbaar kaun kare?

le bhi lo hamko apni baaho'n mein
rooh bechain hai nigaaho'n mein

ilteja baar-baar kaun kare?
