Samay samay kii khalish me.n teraa malaal rahe
judaa_iiyo.n me.n bhii yuu.n aalam-e-visaal rahe

anaa kii jang me.n ham jiit to gaye lekin
phir us ke baad bahut der tak nidhaal rahe

raah-e junuu.n me.n yahii zaad-e-raah hotaa hai
ke justajuu ba.de divaanagii bahaal rahe

hasii.n raate.n bhii mahake.n tumhaarii yaado.n se
ka.de dino.n me.n bhii pal pal teraa khayaal rahe

tuu ek baar zaraa kishtiyaa.n jalaa to sahii
hai kyaa majaal ke ek lamhaa bhii zavaal rahe
