Muje dard-e-ishq ka maza malum hai, Dard-e-dil ki inteha malum hai, Zindgi bhar muskrane ki dua na dena, Muje pal bhar muskrane ki saza malum hai...

Ikraar mein shabdon ki ehmiyat nahi hoti,
Dil ke jazbaat ki awaaz nahi hoti,
Aankhen bayaan kar deti hain dil ki daastan,
