Meri sansoN ka zero-o-bam tumhare naam hona hay
kay ab tu har khushi har gham tumhare naam hona hay

BahareN aain gi gulshan maiN jab bhi rang-o-boo lekar
HasseeN pholoN ka wo mosam tumhare naam hona hay

MaiN koi shair likhoN gaa, tumhara roop jhalke gaa
JunoN ka aisa ik alam tumhare naam hona hay

Meri sochoN ka mehwar sirf teri zaat theri hay
safar ab koi hoo hamdam tumhare naam hona hay

Ghatain jam kay barseN gii tu tum ko yaad aay ga
Kay sawan maiN koi purnam tumhare naam hona hay

Mere is dil ki har dharkan yehi awaz detti hay
Mera jevan dil-e-Mehram tumhare naam hona hay

Tumhare ishq ki zou se hi ye Mehtab roshan hay
DIya ye jab hua madham tumhare naam hona hay...
