Pelk jhapkay gii tu mer jaayengay
aaj kii raat tu bas shabnam ko
aankhouN maiN samonay daiN ge
aaj ki raat tu bass guzaray gii youNhii
derd ko derd se hii nibhaanay daiN ge
aaj kii shaam he aakhrii shahr maiN tere merii
aaj pairouN se teray GhuNghroo na uternay daiN ge
aaj tuu apnay husn kaa nazzaraah karnay de mujhay
kal dewwanouN ko tere tujh pe marnay daiN ge
phir tuu kisay milti he kab milti he
dill ke mousam ko aankhouN se naa cHHalknay daiN ge -
