Windows 8 Installation Guide 1. Place the Windows 8 upgrade disk into your optical drive and restart the system. 2. Once the system restarts, you will see a prompt asking you to press any key to boot from disk. Press any key on your keyboard and the Windows 8 disk will load. 3. After the disk finishes loading, you will see the following screen: ![]() Click Next to continue. ![]() 4. Click Install now. ![]() 5. Enter your product key and then click Next. ![]() 6. You must accept the License terms in order to install. Place a check next to I accept the license terms and then click Next. ![]() 7. Choose Custom for a clean installation. ![]() 8. From here, highlight your existing hard drive and click Next. ![]() 9. The installation process will start at this point, and installation should take approximately 25-30 minutes. Your computer may restart several times during the process. 10. Done!
