maghroor hee sahi mujhay acha boht laga
wo ajnabi tha lakin apna boht laga

rootha hoa tha hans tu perA mujh ko dekh ker
mujh ko tu iss qader bhi dilasa boht laga

sehra main jee raha tha jo derya dili k saath
dekha jo ghour se tu pyasa boht laga

wo jis k dam qadam se thee basti ki ronaqein
bastii ujaar gai tu akaila boht laga

resham pehn k bhi meri qeemat na berrh saki
khaddder bhi uss k jism per mehnga boht laga

umair jub aaienay pe meri saans jum gaii
mujh ko bhi apna aks dhundlaa boht laga...
