Mutton Paya Masala

Recipe Ingredients

Mutton trotters (boiled) 6
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Onion 2
Yogurt 250 gm
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
Chili powder 2 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Allspice powder 1 tsp
Oil ¼ cup
Salt to taste

Recipe Method

Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 2 chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
Add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well.
Now lower the flame, add 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp all spice powder and salt to taste. Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
Then add 250 gm whipped yogurt.
Cook for a few minutes.
Add 6 boiled trotters with its stock. Mix very well.
Simmer on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes.
Then remove lid, add 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves and a little coriander.
Fry well till gravy thickens, dish it out and serve hot.
