apni zindagi ajeeb say door say gozri ho jaisay
gham-e-batil mai apno ki taalash ho jaisay

hooto mai hassi ankho mai nami ho jaisay
dewanay pan ki akhri had ho jaisay

samander ki lehro mai doobti kishti ho jaisay
duniya ki bayrukhi say ajiz-e-jaan ho jaisay

woh hai jo dosro k saath manatay ho jaisay
magar hum jantay hai zakhmi dil on ka bhi ho jaisay

woh apni ana ki aar mai ghiray ho jaisay
magar hum bhi kam nahi ana k hasaar mai qayd ho jaisay

apni zindagi ajeeb dorr say gozri ho jaisay
gham-e-batil mai apno ki taalash ho jaisay
