wo bas khamosh lehje men kabhi izhaar kerta hai
na wo iqraar kerta hai na he inkaar karta hai

main phir bachon si fitrat ka k sab kuch bhool jata hun
wo dil behla k phir purhol kaari waar kerta hai

yakh basta hawa chali tu kuch yad aya mujhe
kisi ka barf lehja kis tarha msmaar kerta hai

hum ehl-e-qafas adna se panchi urr b jain tu kya
wo shaheen hai urrta nhin perwaaz kerta hai

kabhi hum dilgriftah se dhoonden saiabaan b
per wo shah nasheen sa huqm b otaar kerta hai

na hum umeed rakhte hen,na koi aas hai ZIA
kabhi na jeet payen uss ko jo wo fankaar kerta hai...
