Kuch guzraa zmanaa yaad aayaa...

Aaj gosha-e- tanhaai main,,
Ik shakhs puranaa yaad aayaa...
Kaghaz ki tahreeron main,,,
Dhundli si tasveeron main,,,
Ik chehraa anjaanaa yaad aayaa...
Woh parhnaa usay kitaabon main,,,
Aur
Dhoondna Usay khwabon main,,,
Usay paanay ki is koshish main,,,
Meri neend kaa jaana yaad aayaa...
Aaj gosha-e- tanhaai main,,,
