Dil bhi bujha ho sham ki parachhaiyan bhi hon
Mar jaiyai jo aise main tanhaiyan bhi hon

Ankhon ki surKh lahar hai mauj-e-suparadagi
Yai kya zaruur hai ke ab angaraiyan bhi hon

Har husn-e-sada lau na dil main utar saka
Kuch to mizaj-e-yar main geharaiyan bhi hon

Duniya ke tazakire to tabiyat hi le bujhe
Bat us ki ho to phir suKhan araiyan bhi hon

Pahale pahal ka ishq abhi yad hai `Faraz`
Dil Khud yai chahata hai ke ruswaiyan bhi hon
