kamal zabt ka maalik,
nazar shanas b tha,

bichhar raha tha achanak,
to bad’hawaas b tha..

labon pe khoobsurat tabasum sajae phirta tha,

wo ek shakhs jo shayad boht udaas b tha..

mein jis ki yad ki parchhaeyon mein gum thi,

wo dastaras mein na tha,
aur mere pas b tha.
