Meri chahat hai wo meri ana bhi hai
Mere khamosh lehjon ki wo ik sada bhi hai
Rehata he subh-o-sham wo mere wajood mein
Meri awaz, mera lehja, wo meri ada bhi hai
Deta hai mujhko zakham wo be-hisab magar
Hamdard bhi hai mera wo meri wafa bhi hai
Ab us zikar pe aksar mai chup sa ho jata hoon
Lekin meri mohabbat ki wo inteha bhi hai
Ajab kash-ma-kash hai meri zindagi mein
Poojna usay bhi hai aur dil mein Khuda bhi hai
