wo koi khuda tu naheen jis se ummeed-e-bahar ho
jo merey dard ko samjhey jisey mujh sey hi piyar ho

is derd-e-muhabbat mey kesey jeeye hum woh kya janey
mudda to ye hay k woh na is gham ka shikar ho

is janoon mey bhi jeeye ja rahay hain hum
youn tu shed ab marney k baad hi qarar ho

Hassan ummeed k sheher mey durd ka ik derya behta hay
hum jin sey milna hi na chahen aur dil ko unhen ka intizar ho
