Mujhey aawaz mat dena
bari mushkil sey main nay aaj hai
rakht-e safar bandha
mujhe us dess jana hai
jaha.n sey lout kar koi
kabhi wapas nahi aya
merey piyarey waha.n mud'dat sey
mujh ko yaad kartey hain
yahan per main agar ik pal ko bhi
ranjoor hota hoon
barey hi piyaar sey aa kar
mujhe wo thaam letey hain
mujhe girney nahi detey
merey maathey pe bosa sabt karte hain
galey mujh ko lagatey hain
barey dherey sey kehtey hain
"Meri jaa.n ! yoon nahi rotey
tumhaarey saath hum hain na!
tumhain kis baat ka dar hai!"
unhi k saath ki chahat main
main nay aaj himmat sey
hai kuch rakht-e safar bandha
mujhe aawaz mat dena
mujhe us dess jana hai
jahan sey lout kar koi
kabhi wapas nahi aaya
mujhey aawaz mat dena
