Jisay hum pyar kartay hain

Ussay hum chorr saktay hain

Magar!

Aisa nahin hota

Da’imi sach hai

Thehar jati hai

Hamari bat kay andar

Hamarai zaat kay andar

Magar!

Ye kam nahin hoti

Kisi bhi dukh ki sorat main

Kabhi kisi zarorat main

Kabhi anjaan say ghum main

Hamari aankh kay andar

Kabhi abe-e-rawan ban kar

Kabhi qatray ki sorat main

Thehar jati hai

Ye hargiz!

Kam nahin hoti..
