yun tanha tanha chale jaa rahe ho,
zindagi se ho khafa ya hampe naarazgi jata rahe ho,
jaante ho hamein aadat hai tumhari muskurahaton ki,
isliye hoke udaas hame tadpaaye jaa rahe ho

zara dekh bhi lo ek nazar hamari taraf,
yun pher ke chehra kyu dil dukhaye jaa rahe ho,
nibhai hai hamne mohobbat har pal tumse,
phir kyun hamein bewafa kahe jaa rahe ho,

zamana to leta hai imtehaan har mohobbat ka,
par tum to zamane se bhi zaalim huye jaa rahe ho,
jaante ho ki tut ke bikharna toh fitrat hai is dil ki,
phir bhi isay thes pahuchaye jaa rahe ho

main toh hairaan hun tumahri ada-e-Qatl par,
khud dete ho zakhm aur khud hi dawa lagaye jaa rahe ho,
karke wada sath chalne ka umr bhar,
na jane kyun aaj tum is mod pe tanha kiye jaa rahe ho..
