Rat kat'ti rahi chand dhalta raha,
Atesh-e-hijr main koi jalta raha,
.
Tanhaiyan dil ko dasti rahin,
Koi bechain karwat badlta raha,
.
Aaj bhi umeed ki shama roshn rahi,
Ghar ki dehliz koi takta raha,
.
Ashk palkon pe aa kr bikhrte rahe,
Naam lab pe kisi ka larazta raha,
.
Raat bhar koi chain se sota raha,
Rat bhar koi tanha sisakta raha,
.
Rat dono ki kat gai MAGAR....
1 sota raha 1 rota raha.
