hum hi thehrey saza-waar khata kuch bhi nahi
tuney samaj liya ke - teray baad hua kuch bhi nahi,

yaad jab aayi teri, yaad raha kuch bhi nahi
dil ne bas aah bhari - aur kaha kuch bhi nahi,

waqt ki tarha ye saansein bhi rawan hain ab tak
ek bas ashk thammey hain - aur rukka kuch bhi nahi,

haath se haath churah kar gaya jab se tu
meinay uss waqt se chuaah kuch bhi nahi,

kash tu kabhi aa k keh de mujh se ae sabeen
k tere baad mere paas raha kuch b nahi.

Hun mein is ada se bhi aashna tujhe itna jis pe gharoor hai
mein jeon ga tere beghair bhi mujhe zindagi ka shaoor hai

Yeh pathron ka shaher hey - yahan to ansoo bhi jum jate hain
