Ek muddat main chup raha hoon zamaney ke liye
Ab to aaja tu mujhe yaar mana ne ke liye

Jab bhi sunta hoon sir-e-aarsh tere aaney ka
Phool chunta hoon rastoon main bichhaney ke liye

Tu keh ke dekh ek dafa main torr laounga
Chand tarey bhi teri maang sajaney ke liye

Tujhe se bichhra to Kisi per Na bharoosa aaya
Werna her shakhes mila dost banaey ke liye

Jaan jaow gay Kisi sham meri ulfat KO
Per Na paow gay mujhe pyaar jataney ke liye

Teri dunya se bhut durr chala aaya hoon
Phir bhi ek umar chahta hoon bhulaney ke liye

Koun Kisi ka derd baant sekta hai
Sab hain hum derd magar rasem nibhaney ke liye
