sher k parde mein main ne gam sunaya hai bahut
marsiye ne dil ko mere bhi rulaya hai bahut

wadi-o-kohsar mein rota hun dhare mar-mar
dilbaran-e-shahar ne mujh ko sataya hai bahut

wa nahin hota kisi se dil girifta ishq ka
zahiri gam-gin use rahna khush aya hai bahut...
