Hansna nahi aata Mujhe Ye Baat Nahi Hai,
Shaid Tumhain Andaza-e-Halaat nahi Hai,

Ye kaise Kahun, Un sey main Waqif hi Nahi Hun,
Haan, Dur Sey Dekha hay, Mulaqaat Nahi Hai,

Shikway tau Unhain Mujh sey Hamesha Hi Rahey Hain,
Merey Leye ye koi Nai baat Nahi Hai,

Be-noor ujaalon Ko seher kaise Samajh Lun,
Tum laakh Kahe jaao k Ab raat Nahi Hai,

“Iqbal” Bura Kehtey Ho Tum dil Shikni Ko,
Is Daur main Ye baat Koi Baat Nahi Hai..!!
