Firaaq-e-yar ki barish, Malaal ka mosam
Hamare sheher mai utra kamal ka mosam

...wo ik dua meri jo na-muraad lout aai
zuban se rooth gaya phir sawal ka mosam

Bohat Dino se mere zehen k dareechon mai
Theher gaya hai Tumhare Khayal ka mosam

Jo Be-Yaqeen hon baharen ujar bhi skti hain
Tu aa k dekh le mere zawaal ka mosam

Mohabbaten bhi teri dhoop chhaon jaisi hain
kabhi ye hijr kabhi ye wisaal ka mosam

koi mila hi nhi jis ko sounp dete kabhi
ham apne khuwab ki khushbu, khayal ka mosam
