A S A L A M - O - A L A I K U M

A common question that Muslims are often asked, mainly by non-Muslims is ‘why do you fast?’ or ‘What do you achieve through fasting?’ Many Muslims attempt to answer these questions in a very philosophical way, explaining that fasting helps us to think about the poor and about those less privileged than us. Or that it allows us to feel the hunger and thirst that poor people around the world feel so that we may be grateful to Allah(swt) for the food that we have, or so on and so forth.

From personal experience I can tell that their next question is.. If you fast to show solidarity to your fellow beings (poor people) then why do you eat extra-ordinarily much after sunset? *They do have a point* This is not how we being MUSLIMS should act. We are the ones who need to set an example to the non-muslims and thats only possible if we follow the SUNNAH of our beloved prophet.

This is a humble request to all of you KEEP IT SIMPLE do not spend extra money on your Iftari. Rather spend that money on the needy ones.

It hurts to see how people focus more on what they will be having for IFTAR rather than focusing on the spiritual purpose of this Holy month. The shaitaan is locked up (= Take this opportunity to purify yourself and don't waste your precious time in less relevant activities.

Nice Message Bibi .. Magar Aisa Hay Kay Apnay Ghar Walo'n Ki Aftari Bhi Ehtamam Say Karo Aur Ghareebo'n Say Tawun Bhi Ehtamaam Say Karo, Rishtay Daro'n Ka Bhi Hum Par Kuch Haq Hay Unki Aftari Bhi Ehtamaam Say Karo.. Ab Ye " Ehtamaam " Wohi Hay Jo Apki Jaib Ijazat Daiti Hay Us Mein Rehtay Howay Jayez Cheezo'n Par Kharch Karna

Awh! Arey Samosey & Pakorey Band kyun (=
Bas yeh hai k utna banaye aur khaye jitna aap se khaya jaa sake <3 Kuch Log Ramadan k naam pe extra-ordinary zyadah pakaatey hain aur zaroorat se zyadah khaate hain. Which is wrong.
