Is qadar zaKhm hain nigaahon mein
Roz ek aina tor deta hoon

Main pujaari baraste phoolon ka
Chu ke shaakhon ko choR deta hoon

Kaasa-e-shab mein Khoon suraj ka
Qatraa qatraa nichor deta hoon

Kaanpte honT bheegti palkein
Baat adhoorii hi chor deta hoon

Rait ke ghar bana bana ke “Faraz”
Jaane kyon Khud hi tor deta hoon
