Tips For Combination Skin

Combination skin is the toughest skin type to conquer because you could be dealing with two opposite ends of the skin care spectrum. The majority of people with combination skin have a T-zone that is oily, and cheeks that are dry. Many people deal with occasional breakouts and larger than normal pores, especially on the nose.

The main issue people face is what kind of skin care product to use. Many people try products meant for oily skin because they think, they have oily skin. This usually leads to dry flakey skin and lots of frustration. Combination skin requires gentle oil control in certain areas as well as moisture to have healthy skin.

If you find that certain areas of your skin are dry, yet others are on the oily side, you probably fall into the combination skin type. You’ll need a gentle skincare regime to take care of your combination skin.

Here are a few tips:-

Foaming Cleansing Gel:

This gel cleanser is perfect for combination skin. It cleanses your skin gently but thoroughly, removing all of your makeup and skin impurities without stripping your skin of the essential oils that your skin needs. What is left is a perfect balance resulting in a more refined and even face.

The Right Toner (Clarifying Lotion):

Toners are especially good for combination to oily skin because it not only removes small traces of cleanser left on the skin, but it also temporarily shrinks pores. Put toner on a cotton ball or pad and rub in a circular motion on your face concentrating especially around the nose.

Balancing Gel-Cream Moisturizer:

This product will provide the moisture that your skin needs on a daily basis, but also has a mortifying agent which will reduce shine on your oily areas. If you deal with redness or irritation, then this will sooth your troubled skin.
