رگوں میں زہر بھر لینا
بدن آباد کر لینا

سدا بجھتے چراغوں سے
سراغ ہمسفر لینا

ہمارے جشن ماتم میں
گھڑی بھر کو سنور لینا

گھٹن شہروں کی ڈس لے گی
کسی صحرا میں گھر لینا

اُسے مت بے وفا کہنا
یہ تہمت اپنے سر لینا

بس اک لمحے کا دکھ دے کر
دعائیں عمر بھر لینا

دکان ِ رنگ سے محسن
کسی تتلی کے پر لینا
