سورة الفاتحة • Surah Al-Fatiha "The Opening "
This Surah Is revealed in Macca !!

1:1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيم
Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:

1:2 الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِين
Al ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi l-'ālamīn
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں، جو سارے جہان کا رب ہے
Praise be to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, The Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds !!

1:3 الرَّحْمـنِ الرَّحِيم
Ar raḥmāni r-raḥīm
نہایت مہربان بہت رحم فرمانے والا ہے
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1:4 مَـالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّين
Māliki yawmi d-dīn
انصاف کے دن کا حاکم
Sovereign of the Day of Judgment.

1:5 إِيَّاك نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِين
Iyyāka na'budu wa iyyāka nasta'īn
اے اللہ! ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں
You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help .

1:6 اهدِنَــــا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ
Ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭ al mustaqīm
ہم کو سیدھے رستے چلا
Guide us to the straight path;

1:7 صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّين
Ṣirāṭ al-laḏīna an'a*** 'alayhim ġayril maġḍūbi 'alayhim walāḍ ḍāllīn
ان لوگوں کے رستے جن پر تو اپنا فضل وکرم کرتا رہا نہ ان کے جن پر غصے ہوتا رہا اور نہ گمراہوں کے
The path of those on whom You have bestowed your grace, not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who go astray.
Ameen !! امين

Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit :
Allah Apostle صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Whoever does not recite Al-Fatiha in his prayer, his prayer is invalid."
Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 12, Number 723 !!

There are so many Hadith available regarding this context showing “There is no prayer for the one who does not recite the Opening of the Book [i.e., al-Faatihah].”
