There are specific things that make us love babies. This urge doesn't exist in other animal species but only humans. Makaka monkeys don't have a sense of cute faces when they view their babies. Human babies rely entirely on parents and guardians for survival so God has designed us to care for babies.

What is Cute to your eyes?
Large rounded head, Big eyes, soft surfaces and puffy cheeks.

Whether it's a human baby or animal (dog, cats or even Panda), we are more likely to find the babies cuter who meet the above cuteness criteria.



These characteristics were also applied to cars by enlarging the eyes and making the edges softer and the participants in the study responded more positively to those cars.


IT'S ALL IN OUR HEAD!
When viewing the babies enhanced scheme of proportions, the "Mesocorticolimbic system" of our brain is activated, which enhances the anticipation of a reward and can lead to a sense of enjoyment and motivation to care for something and an urge to cuddle or hold an object.

Next time when you look at babies, Just know them little trouble makers are fooling us with their cuteness
