As I glanced up from my reading,
I turned my gaze unto the sky.
And, there to my amazement,
I saw ing angel eyes.

As I gasped and stood in wonder,
The angel drew, somewhat, near.
Then, she moved even closer,
To be sure I could hear.



"You've been given gifts of beauty.
You've been trusted to obey.
But, you have failed to honor nature.
Must you throw it all away?

I see children without comfort.
I see homeless souls and ill.
Will you not redeem yourselves, then?
Have you no concern or will?"

As the vision slowly faded,
I felt the guiding spirit rise,
With a prayer that we be willing
To dry those ing eyes.
